A critical step in your recovery
The first year after leaving a treatment facility tests an individual’s resolve and is often one of the most difficult. Through our aftercare treatment program, we offer counseling services and other solutions that are designed to instill confidence and strength, while ensuring a client is constantly progressing and maintaining their sobriety.
Aftercare plans may include the following:
- Case management
- Drug testing
- Family therapy
- Individual therapy
- Recreational activities
- Social events
- Support group meetings
While you should take great pride in completing treatment at a recovery center such as BriteLife, you must always remain dedicated and resolute in your search for ongoing care and assistance, as these improve both your quality of life and long-term success rate. If necessary, our team will communicate with appropriate, pre-determined third parties to provide any required employment or legal/judicial updates on a client’s behalf.
Having an Aftercare Plan to Address Triggers
During addiction treatment and continuing care, clients benefit from treatments that identify problems and find solutions. Triggers are distinctive to the person that feels them, so this must be an individualized procedure. Simply identifying those personal triggers is a big step in the right direction. After identifying triggers, clients and therapists collaborate to find alternative activities that are substance free. Typical triggers include stress, hunger, thirst, loneliness, financial problems and more. Therefore, solutions must be just as distinct or individualized. Some clients find that exercising helps to reduce triggers, while others prefer yoga or strength training.
We care for our clients long after they leave our recovery center. Sobriety is a lifelong journey, and while we guide everyone through the process during their time BriteLife, our commitment and support never ends. Each client will face their own unique set of challenges once they complete addiction therapy. Our staff fully recognizes how difficult it can be to return home or re-enter the community following your discharge, which is why our objective is to provide the tools needed to live a happy, healthy life and prevent relapse. We work closely with our clients to create customized transition plans, develop goals, and address any potential questions or concerns you may have.
