Lisa Michie, LCSW, LCDC, CEAP

Lisa Michie is a proven leader with more than 30 years of experience as a senior healthcare executive, with extensive knowledge in clinical and financial operations. Lisa is experienced in managing and directing all aspects of free-standing acute psychiatric hospitals and multi-site substance abuse treatment centers, as well as physical medicine rehabilitation hospitals and outpatient surgical facilities.
Over the last three decades, Lisa has served on many healthcare boards and has held a multitude of C-level and executive leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer, Corporate Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Operations. She also holds the following accreditations and designations: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Certified Employee Assistance Professional.
As a certified critical incident stress debriefing professional, Lisa provided services to individuals during the September 11, 2001, attacks in New York City and the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.
As one of three C-level healthcare executives, Lisa played an integral role in an $80 million turn-around project and $115 million sale of a large multi-state substance abuse and behavioral healthcare corporation. Her experience includes all aspects of healthcare operations including de novo growth, mergers, acquisitions and startups, business development and marketing, intake admissions and call-center implementation.
Lisa attended San Diego State University, where she was a two-time Division 1 All-American women’s softball player. She holds two master’s degrees and her passion is training and working with certified therapy dogs that provide support to patients.
