Addiction Treatment Programs
Alcohol
Alcoholism is an extremely common form of addiction. In fact, the number of those seeking treatment for alcoholism has tripled over the past decade.
Cocaine & Crack
A fast-acting, highly-addictive drug, cocaine, or crack in its smokable form, affects users both physically and psychologically. A powerful stimulant, users feel the effects of cocaine and crack quickly, but the high doesn’t last long.
Drugs
Drug addiction is a very real problem in this country and the truth is, it can happen to anybody. Nobody becomes dependent on drugs intentionally but, unfortunately, far too many end up with a problem that they cannot fix on their own.
Fentanyl
Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid drug used to treat chronic pain and severe pain after surgery. Because it’s 50 to 100 times stronger than morphine, fentanyl can be incredibly addictive, especially when abused, used recreationally, or not used as directed.
Heroin
Heroin is one of the most addictive and lethal drugs in our society and accounts for nearly 16,000 deaths per year in the U.S. alone. And, unfortunately, that number is drastically on the rise.
Meth
Not unlike cocaine, users of meth tend to develop binge habits. Whether inhaled or injected, the sense of euphoria they feel drives them to stay under the influence for as long as possible; oftentimes for several days.
Morphine
Morphine is an opiate used to relieve moderate to severe pain. It’s a naturally occurring substance extracted from the poppy plant or concentrated poppy straw—the same sources used to make heroin.
Opioids
We are currently in the midst of an opioid epidemic and the number of reported addictions and deaths connected to these drugs is staggering. Over 40% of all drug-related deaths in the U.S. are attributed to opioids, with more than 100 people losing their lives each day.
Prescription Drugs
Whether it be painkillers or benzodiazapines, prescription drugs have become a major problem. Although they are prescribed by doctors to treat legitimate physical and mental conditions, these medications are highly addictive and are easily abused.
Xanax
Xanax (alprazolam) is a prescription drug used to treat anxiety. It belongs to a class of drugs called benzodiazepines, some of the most commonly used drugs in the world.
